This is a traditional Belgian Tripel with one exception. Instead of making this beer with water, maple sap was used instead. My neighbor collected 10 gallons of maple sap from his property and I brewed up 5 gallons of beer with it. Don't expect maple syrup flavor as none was added. Just sap straight from the tree which adds a little more sugar to the menu.
